The DOORTEL 4 is a doorstation which can be connected to a normal analogue telephone line of any PABX. Pressing the door chime button the unit will size the line and dial a programmed telephone number. Up to four telephone number with 4 digits can be programmed using DIP switches or a 16 digits number using DTMF programming. Using a DTMF tone uo to two door opener contacts can be activated during the conversation.

The line release is ensured by a busy tone detection and a selectable hardware timer.
